This episode comes from the livestream on October 10th. Things get off to a nice mellow start. The second piece takes a while to get going, but lands in a nice place that provides the opportunity for some fun arco noodling in an almost western style. The third piece really gets going with the arco as well, and there’s some nice timbres happening here. The fourth piece starts as a bit of a retake or re-adaptation of the third one, and then develops into it’s own darker and broodier piece. The dry note-less brushed arco percussive sound I used has an interesting industrial feel to it. This evolves even more into an industrial electronic beat in the fifth piece, that has a nice drive and a fitting space cowboy whistling solo over top of it. Things end with a short ambient piece, and finally an arco driven epic build.
